baltimore near johns hopkins hospital. he died around same time police found old richard mills suffering from a stab wound. police are looking into two nonfatal shootings sunday in south baltimore. 4:47. a glen burnie man is locked up after he stabbed another man. anne arundel county police say it started out as a fight on saunders way. when officers got there, they discovered a 20-year-old man had multiple stab wounds. police arrested trafficon anderson and -- ravon anderson. a third man tried to help the victim and got in the -- and got the knife away from anderson. a four-aloom fire in baltimore -- alarm fire in baltimore, the fire at the days inn started in a storage room. look at this video. baltimore county firefighters rescuing a woman on the 7th floor. it started in a locked storage room according to

investigators. 160 guests were evacuated from the hotel. two people including a firefighter suffered minor injuries. investigators say the fire caused 3.5 million dollars in total damages to that hotel. four people are dead following a boating didn't along the hudson river. the dutchs county sheriff office says it hit a concrete footing. the boat began to sink. 6 people on board were there. two made it to land and called for help. authorities are trying to determine if alcohol played a role in the crash. this morning, the chicago law enforcement community is mourning the loss of a 9 11 dispatcher. she is described as the nicest most positive person you want to meet. she was driving home from work when she was struck by another vehicle. that driver was in a stolen car and trying to escape the cops. >> saw the police chasing somebody i didn't see the car

it feels like 97 degrees in st. louis. i would say that is the core of this heat wave. it will slowly work et cetera way off toward the east. -- its way off toward the east. you can see the dome of high pressure a. dirty high as we have the clockwise circulation and band of cloudiness to the south and west. there will be storms that fire up across the great lakes and a disturbance that slides in our direction. before that happens, we have a very hot day and we are expecting to have ourselves a look at some showers and thunderstorms that fire up in the mountains. as we watch that during the course of the afternoon, we may get cloud thrown in our direction. but it will be another disturbance that slide in and maybe ignites right along the bay. we have this special boundary with the chesapeake and around i-95 we develop a little boundary that sets up here in the atmosphere. we get a southeast wind that kinks in off the chesapeake and rain banks up some of the heat. we could get a flare-up of

storms after midnight and early in the morning between i-95 and the chesapeake and on to the eastern shore. so we will watch that maybe for beneficial rain and maybe surprise boomers that may shake some of you awake. more widespread storms tomorrow afternoon. our future radar on the computer model calling 1:30. if it delays longer, we get a chance to build up more heat during the afternoon. but there will be showers and storms that fire up tomorrow and should taper down the heat as we go through the second half of the week. for today, 93 with a heat indexvalue 100 or higher. much more oppressive than the weekend. a flare-up of storms after midnight through daybreak tomorrow. the city is staying a sultry near 80, 76 degrees for the rest of us. heat index at 105 with a afternoon temperature of 98. let's see what's happening on the road. >> reporter: we are doing
